Save Your Seat

We can't wait to see you!

As from Sunday, 25 October 2020 we will be opening our doors for limited in-person gatherings. Your safety is our priority and we will ensure you and your family feel safe and comfortable while attending.

We realize however that not everyone is ready to attend our meetings just yet, and that's okay. You can continue worshiping with us online, as our Church Online platform will remain active.

Bookings will be essential to attend as our capacity is limited due to social distancing regulations. You can book here.

We also encourage those over 60, and anyone that may not be feeling well or is showing symptoms to please stay home and join us online instead.

Please read more on our safety measures and what to expect below.

What To Expect

What if I'm not comfortable returning to church yet?

That's not a problem! We encourage you to continue joining us online every Sunday until you feel ready to attend. Our Church Online experience will continue every Sunday morning at 9:30 AM on our website, Facebook and on YouTube.

What safety precautions and procedures can I expect?

We will be taking several precautions to keep you and our volunteers healthy and safe:

  • Masks will be required for all who are attending.
  • Temperature checks will be done at the door.
  • Your details will be required in order to keep a record of all those attending.
  • Hand sanitizing will be encouraged.
  • Hall capacity will be limited to provide adequate spacing.
  • Households will be seated together, with space left between each household.
  • We ask that every individual practices social distancing, greeting with a wave.

We ask each person to exercise their own judgment: if you are feeling sick or have a family member who is feeling sick, please stay home and join us online.

Do I need to book or register?

Yes, we are limiting our capacity to implement social distancing in our hall. This means that we unfortunately cannot seat as many people as we usually do, and booking for our services will be essential. You can book your spot here.

We are also required to keep a record of all those attending. In order to do this you will need to register your details with us (once), and at each service you attend you will check-in at the door.

Will Kids Church be open?

Unfortunately our Kids Church will remain closed for the time being, so if your children are attending church they will need to sit with you.

We will still be providing our online Kids Church platform for ages 2-13 years, with resources updating every Sunday.

Are Youth Meetings continuing?

Our Youth Leaders are continuing lessons and ministering through their WhatsApp Group, and we will be opening up limited Youth Meetings as from the 24th of October 2020. These plans will be communicated directly with our youth and their parents. Should you need any of this information please feel free to contact us.

How can I continue giving?

If you are attending our services, you are welcome to bring your tithes and offering with you, however we encourage you to continue giving online.

What is Awaken Life Church doing during this time to serve the community?

As a church, we have continued our Food Parcel feeding initiative in order to assist those in need.. If you'd like to find out more or would like to give towards this cause you can do so here.

We are looking forward to seeing all of your smiling eyes and cannot wait to worship with you!
